Rochester Metro System (fictional)

This map for a fictional subway system in Rochester, New York, was developed specifically to increase competency in information design. Points of interest were mapped geographically, then translated to a map format. Care was taken to ensure readability and understanding of stops, interchanges, and geographic relevance. The most important lines are presented in primary colors; lesser lines are secondary. The most active areas are presented in warmer colors; coolor colors are used for less active areas.
